I’m hosting a drop by session today to talk about my project and I have boards to display things ready, I have posters to display and my laptop ready to show people one of the systems they’ll be using. I don’t have many meetings scheduled for today so have time to review some other documents.
My desired feeling:
Relaxed.
Thoughts to practice to create my desired feeling:
I don’t need to rush about. I have everything ready. I will book my train ticket for tomorrow this evening and look forward to Spending the day with R in posh parts of London.
I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Wearing black and burgundy today. My favourite colour that matches my nail varnish. I got complimented on my nails during a work zoom yesterday. I will be confident and engaging during the drop by session and capture contact details for people we speak with.
I will show up for myself by:
Signing up for the SOSI Northy Woman workshops. A week of teaching on how to value myself and not need the validation of others.
I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
Collating all the papers ahead of Saturday’s meeting to be prepared. I replied to an email from one of the people I find difficult by saying I had no comment on her paper but how was this going to be presented on Saturday.
I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Take my Lunchtime walk listening to a podcast.
