I did all I could in preparation for handing over my project for next week whilst I’m on a course. I have two completely empty days at home. No meetings, no need to be anywhere or do anything. I do have a couple of scheduled tasks to complete but they won’t take long. Then I have time to myself.
My desired feeling:
Enthused.
Thoughts to practice to create my desired feeling:
I want the satisfaction of having completed my tasks and got them out of the way. I would then like to catch up and finish the Worthy Woman workshops. I have 3 left to listen to and formulate now I can encorporate all the learning into my daily rituals and life. It can be quite daunting to know where to start with some of these things, and because I can only control my thoughts and actions, not my husbands, sometimes it’s difficult to achieve my desired results fully. However, even if I can make little adjustments here and there it will be a bonus.
I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language a presentation by:
Channelling my inner Sandy at the end of the Grease movie, wearing fake leather, skin tight black trousers and an off the shoulder jumper. Mine’s mint green though. Long necklace, diamond studs and gold bracelet. Wearing a thong and strapless bra making it everso slightly sexied up! Feeling confident and self assured though and ready for action.
I will show up for myself by:
Wearing what makes me feel good. I like a sexy, edgy look that says “yeah, I’ll do it right here, right now”.
I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
Completing my scheduled tasks for the day early so I can get them out of the way to enjoy the rest of my day.
I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Tidying my study desk. I noticed yesterday how cluttered it felt and distracting it was.
Today I am:
A woman getting to know her worth and putting it into practice.
Today I am grateful for:
Being able to express myself in what I do and wear without recrimination. I live in a society where woman can dress how they want, not how the state dictates. I can speak my mind when I want to and can have an equal say in things. It’s not perfect and there are still a lot of inequalities between men and women, but compared to other countries and cultures, I can be myself.
