I’m currently feeling:
Disappointed.

My thoughts creating this feeling :
I failed my exam yesterday by one mark. It was a tough exam even with open book. The way the questions and multiple choice answers were phrased was very confusing. There were always two potentially valid answers. I’m a bit embarrassed too because people at work knew I was taking it and were asking me to let them know how I got on. It’s not the end of the world and I won’t lose my job over it. I’ve still learned lots and have the manual. I have subsequently found out I could resit it if I wanted too, which I didn’t think would be an option. I might decide to as it was so close, but would be even worse if I failed it a second time.

My desired feeling:
Excited.

Thoughts to practice to create my desired feeling:
I have a fun weekend ahead. After getting through today at work, I’ll be off to see my daughter tomorrow. She has a few days off so we’re going to pick her up, go out for the day, stay over somewhere, before I have to go to a meeting.she and C can have a wander around, then we’re back love for a quiz night. C has suggested dinner out on Sunday and then he’ll take R back to herson Monday. Looking forward to having my grown up, baby girl about for a while.

I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Black trousers, teal green top, good jewellry. Simple but smart. Got several meetings today that require my full attention and decisions. Need to be on it.

I will show up for myself by:
I WILL get out for a walk this luchtime. Despite promising myself throughout the week, it’s not happened. I haven’t been for a single walk all week. I have scheduled it into my work diary to make sure I have time.

I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
Need to make sure the new webpage goes live before the weekend as people are asking for info. was loping the webmaster would have done it yesterday, but nothing yet.

I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Tidying up ahead of R being home. There are a few things been dumped on her bed in her room, so will need to find somewhere else for those in the meantime.

Today I am:
Getting over it.

Today I am grateful for:
Having had the opportunity to sit the exam. There may well be a chance to try again.
