Energised

I’m currently feeling:
Educated.

My thoughts creating this feeling :
She may be my daughter but she teaches me new things almost everytime I see her. Had a brilliant day yesterday looking around Greys Court, former home to the knollys family in the Tudor period. At lunchtime R and I were chatting about books, as we’d both been reading Alan Rickman’s diaries And she mentioned an app she uses to log the books she’s read, get recommendations for different books based on her preferences, and how she can join reading challenges and read along with others. She said she’s read 48 books so far this year with a target of reading 50. The app slows you graphs by geure, length oftime taken to read and all sorts of other interesting information. We had a brilliant day, and a lovely dinner where we chatted about drinking habits and how she wants to try drinking things like vodka and gin but as slow, sipping drinks rather than with large mixers. She’s also getting a little more unto white wine during the summer. She’s not a big drinker by any means so I have no concerns she’s forming an unhealthy habit. At the end of the evening it was lovely to Love her sit in our hotel room with as, just chilling out, reading and watching tv before going back to her own room to bed.

My desired feeling:
Energised.

Thoughts to practice to create my desired feeling:
The whole point of staying over near Oxford is because I have a CCCBR meeting with the Exec and workgroup Leads. The main focus of agenda is to start developing plans for the sustainable future of ringing. Several people have already commented on a briefing note the President sent round. I hadn’t because I had been busy setting up the Ring for the King campaign. I’m hopuig the meeting will give energy to start proper planning and get defined actions noted down.

I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
I’m going feminine casual again today. Jeans and another silk blouse, this time a dusty pink colour. Matching rose quartz jewellry. I need to be enthusiastic, energetic and involved in todays meeting, because if all goes to plan next year I am going to be one of the main people to progress the action Plan.

I will show up for myself by:
Eating a healthy breakfast and getting something nutritious for lunch as we’ll be having a working lunch.

I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
Attending and fully participating in todays meeting. Then this evening attending the local ringing quiz night.

I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Taking a little wander around Oxford according to how much time I have.

Today I am:
Focussed on the future.

Today I am grateful for:
The fact my daughter teaches me something new every time I see her. She is so self sufficient, capable and clever.
