I’m currently feeling:
Chilled.
My thoughts creating this feeling :
Had a lovely day out yesterday on a ringing outing, organised and run by young ringers. There was he mad rushing about and the ringing, on the whole, was pretty good. Even managed to meet up with my brother and his wife as they live hear one of the towers we were ringing at. Got home quite late so just chilled in front of the TV before falling asleep. Today there’s more ringing involved. Service ringing first, then after ironing and lunch we’re attempting a full peal, approx 3 hours as part of the Royal Society of Cumberland Youths peal weekend. Its a method I know well so there should be no problems other than people losing concentration. I’m not bothered one way or the other which bell I ruig or whether we score it or not. C is conducting it so it would be good to score from his point of view given the time he’s put in to learning the composition. Then, all I need to do when we get back is prepare breakfasts and launches for the week allmad. Set out clothes ready for tomorrow. Maybe respond to some messages. Pain’t my nails. Relax.
My desired feeling:
Effortless.
Thoughts to practice to create my desired feeling:
whilst there’s plenty to do, I can go about it with ease. There is nothing I need to get worked up about, stressed about, or spend half the day brewing over. I can move effortlessly from one task to another. I can include time for rest. I can decide what order I can do the non-ringing things in.
I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Casual, comfortable and ringable today. Jeans and tshirt. Basic jewellry. Ringing bra. This is the bra I am most comfortable ringing for long periods in, as it doesn’t dig in or leave marks under my arms. Not the sexiest of bras, but essential for ringing peals in.
I will show up for myself by:
Just getting on with things today. Not letting any of it bother me or panic because there’s too many things to do and not enough time in the day. Effortlessly gliding from one thing to the next.
I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
Being calm and relaxed in all I do today. No need to rush. No need to stress.
I will upgrade my surroundings by:
My flowers do need throwing out but I’ve been unable to get new ones this week. I will fill the gap where the vase usually goes with some silk flowers I have tucked away.
Today I am:
Exceptionally chilled out.
Today I am grateful for:
A fabulous day out yesterday. It was great that it had all been organised and run by young people. They were all super keen, but pleasant, polite and respectful to everyone. It really was a pleasure to be part of their day.
