I’m currently feeling:
Concerned.
My thoughts creating this feeling :
C has had a dodgy throat for several days now and says it’s tonsilitis. He’s been taking all sorts of sprays, lozengers, tablets etc. Yesterday he had to deliver two training sessions via Zoom. It sounded ok from where I was sat but he’s had some nasty hacking coughing fits and a couple of bad nights, coughing, clearing his throat etc. He ended up dozing off three times yesterday. Once after lunch, immediately after dinner and later after our online ringing session with friends. He has taken covid tests and they’re all negative. Today is the practical training session so he’ll be needing to do a lot of talking again today. I hope he can hold out and doesn’t suffer too much. I think he had a better nights sleep last night. I did so he wasn’t keeping me awake as well like he had been. I hope its on the way out, whatever itis.
My desired feeling:
Supportive.
Thoughts to practice to create my desired feeling:
I am helping at the training day today so will end up doing quite a lot of reising. I suspect I will also find myself in the usual positition of sorting out refreshments at the appropriate times. Lunch has all been pre-ordered so hopefully that will all go smoothly. I cope all the learners have a great day and get lists out of it. I hope the helpers, induding me, are all on form to provide stable ringing around the learners. C always puts a lot of effort wide his training so I lope it all goes well for his sake.
I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
It’s going to be cold all day so jeans, eshirt and jumper, with thick socks and boots required. Need to be warm enough but without getting too lot during the ringing. I’ll be friendly, supportive and encouraging to everyone today, and helpful for C.
I will show up for myself by:
Charming the room. Yesterday, I was listening to the first three Salons Tonya Leigh had recorded. In those three sessions I learned about wheat my purpose statement is: to be the facilitator to others learning. I learned some techniques to avoid imposter syndrome, and I learned some behaviours to avoid. I still have three more Salons to watch but feel these first three gave me some new incites to practice.

Supporting our training day to help people learn and practice a new skill. Paying it forward, if you will.
I will upgrade my surroundings by:
We will be visiting a different church we haven’t been to in a while, and having a pub lunch. There will be new people to meet and company to enjoy.

Today I am grateful for:
Opportunities to meet new people, visit different places and enjoy food out. It’s good to speale to new people, find out about them and help them learn new things.
