I’m currently feeling:
Frustrated.
My thoughts creating this feeling :
Last nights breakout session was mildly frustrating because I had received no instructions as to what I was required to do. I managed to blag something but it was all left a bit hanging in the air at the end. It wasn’t clear if we were all supposed to return to the main room for some sort of wrap up or just fizzle out at the end of the breakout session. I also hadn’t realised it would be going on so long. It was gone 9pm by the time we’d finished. I’d been on a meeting previous to that meaning I had been on zoom for two hours already.
My desired feeling:
Encouraged.
Thoughts to practice to create my desired feeling:
More testing to do today at work that requires me to go back to the health records centre and play on a PC with a scanner again. At least I managed to show someone the problem last week so I’m hoping they’ve done some work to rectify it, otherwise it puts the whole Go Live at jeopardy again. Ijust want to get this bit working sowe can move on to the next phase. In other areas of like I was encouraged by the scales of doom this morning and have lost Ilb. This may partly be due to the fact we have had only one meal for the last two days. Big lunches mean we’re not hungry again later so don’t bother with a second main meal. My thoughts around food has already shifted and last night I was looking at a short, low impact cardiac routine to do when I get home from work. I have already started to shift mine my next word of the year.
I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Checked trousers and black top for work. Black ankle boots. Rose quartz necklace, gold bangle and gold drop earrings. Feeling functional today. Eager to get things done and moved on. Still feeling slightly frustrated from last night, so need to make sure I manage that and don’t take it out on anyone else.
I will show up for myself by:
Focussing on action and results. Keep phone out of the way to avoid distractions. Get on with things and have a successful day.
I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
Accepting a meeting visite even though its not terribly convenient or something I actually want to do. It is useful to be there.
I will upgrade my surroundings by:
making sure I get out at lunchtime for a walk in the crisp autumn air. Notice the trees and fields and the change in season as we head wihe winter.
Today I am:
No nonsense, get stuff done.
Today I am grateful for:
Preplanning. Meals, clothes, events, tasks, schedules. Knowing what’s what, where and when avoids indecision, bad choices and means I know what I should be focussing my energies into.
