Success

I’m currently feeling:
Baffled.

My thoughts creating this feeling :
I bought myself a beauty product Advent Calender this year as an attempt to try more products, look after my skin better and so on. Some of the products are in small pots or tubes. Most of the pots and tubes are pinkish in colour. Most of them have white writing on them. White writing on pale pink backgrounds on very small sized products means its actually quite difficult to read what the product is, let alone any of the instructions or ingredients. It has made it quite frustrating on some days and I’ve had to Google the product and what I’m supposed to do with it. How can this sort of packaging pass any kind of basic DDA compliance? I don’t have particularly bad eyesight but some days I’ve almost had to get a magnifying glass out to read what it is.

My desired feeling:
Success.

Thoughts to practice to create my desired feeling:
Yesterdays testing when very well and I was able to get something through the scanner manually, which was then visible in the ACP. This is good news. It means I can now fully document the processes and we can start to teach the team who can start scanning to reduce their backlog. We still have to sort out barcodes, but at least it was a positive step in the right direction. Today the plan is to do more testing whilst writing the procedures down and taking screen shots.

I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Black trousers with white spots, cream coloured silk blouse and black cardigan. Pearl stud earrings and pearl bracelet with gold necklace. On a high from yesterdays testing success so staying positive for more success today.

I will show up for myself by:
Being focussed on getting more testing done, having my lunch time walk and demonstrating happiness at success.

I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
Using the most recent Advent Calendar products to enhance my beauty regime.

I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Maybe treating myself to a luxury hot chocolate from the onsite coffee shop.

Today I am:
Basking in success.

Today I am grateful for:
Colleagues who stayed on a call last night to be able to work through problems encountered on our testing. Collaboratively we were able to resolve them on the spot and make good progress.
