I’m currently feeling:
Groggy.
My thoughts creating this feeling :
It’s my last working day before taking some leave over the Christmas break. The last couple of weeks have been full on trying to get my project over the line so we can start in the new year. I have managed to achieve thatall bar a couple of inhouse isslies to resolve if we can. Last night we rang for the first of the main Carol Services so didn’t get dinner until much later than normal. It was wine Wednesday so we enjoyed a bottle of red with it. I read for a bit before falling asleep on the sofa. I woke up in time togo to bed and slept right through to the alarm. Woke up feeling a bit groggy this morning. Maybe it was the wire and late dinner.
My desired feeling:
Celebratory.
Thoughts to practice to create my desired feeling:
I want to end my work year on a high and celebrate the project success. I have been visited to the Health Records christmas buck which I might pop over to say hello to everyone, but not partake of the food. I want to score our online quarter peal attempt this evening to end that on a high too.
I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Getting my sexy back so my silk dark green blouse undoes to a decent level of cleavage exposure. Navy trousers and cardigan and basic jewellry for today. Need to be practical for closing up the office for Christmas but with a bit of an edge.
I will show up for myself by:
Not eating party food at the Health Records do. I’ve got my homemade soup and nuts to keep me going I don’t need to eat for the sake of it.
I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
Scheduling some tasks that need doing for bellringing circles over the christmas period so I don’t have to rush or panic about getting stuff done.
I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Opening a Anistmas Cookie candle for the lounge and enjoying a festive scent.
Today I am:
Ready.
Today I am grateful for:
Gifts my friends have given. They are colleagues really, but have become real friends over the last year. We swapped gifts yesterday and I look forward to opening them.
