Ready

I’m currently feeling:
Finally festive -ish!

My thoughts creating this feeling:
I don’t really get excited about Christmas, there’s always too much to do, too many people to see, pressure to buy gifts, bake, make things perfect, decorate the house and so on, only for the sake of a couple of days. I’m not remotely religious so the true meaning of Christmas doesn’t interest me, but there are some traditions I do take part in. As a bellringer, ringing for various canol services in the lead up is something I do enjoy. I do quite like the singing of Christmas carols and elegantly decorated trees, so long as people don’t go overboard. Food always seems so much nicer and plentiful. I’m not bothered about receiving gifts but I do like to try to buy things meaningful for others. We’ve got the last Carol service to ring for this evening and need to start putting things together and packing to head to R’s tomorrow. We have gifts from my mum and dad, and my brother, so we were going to open them today, rather than take it all down to R’s only to have to bring it all back again. I’ve finished work now until the new year and am looking forward to a nice break to rejunvinate

My desired feeling:
Ready.

Thoughts to practice to create my desired feeling:
I have mental lists of what needs doing and what needs to go where. Some things are already in piles, sorted and ready to load in the car. I know what clothes I want to pack and what I’ll wear Christmas Eve for the journey down and our dinner out. I can actually have time to relax, read, maybe do some SOSI work.

I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
I did have to change my plans for what to wear today as I’d temporarily forgotten we were ringing again this evening. I was going to wear a slightly off the should, mesh, see through jumper with sexy black bra, partially visible underneath, then decided that wasn’t appropriate for ringing in. Opted for a light weight black speckled jumper with my burgundy fake leather trousers. I do still have the sexy black undies on, but no one can see them.

I will show up for myself by:
I want to ensure I can enjoy the break with a clear conscience and not feel guilty or like I’d have a tonne of stuff to do when we get back a Boxing Day. There are things I can get out of the way quickly and others I’ll schedule in specific time for.

I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
Packing elegant and feminine outfits for our couple of days away. Selecting jewellry that makes me feel a million pounds and looking and feeling amazing. Going out of this year of Elegance in style.

I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Getting things ready so it’s quick and easy to load the car tomorrow.

Today I am:
Almost excited.

Today I am grateful for:
Being able to take some time off work to relax, spend time with loved ones, enjoy the festive period and recharge.
