I’m currently feeling:
Challenged.
My thoughts creating this feeling:
Yesterdays coaching course on Ethical Dilemmas was interesting and threw up a number of things I need to be aware of during, and even before, conducting coaching conversations. I felt challenged trying to achieve a satisfactory level of testing for my project so we can get training done and can clinically go live. I just don’t seem to have enough diary space this week to get much done. We were challenged during the evening meeting about marketing and PR for ringing to change the perception and accessibility of ringing as an activity of choice. This will form one of the pillars to our ringing 2030 strategy. It was a late night!
My desired feeling:
Prepared.
Thoughts to practice to create my desired feeling:
Several meetings. Several sets of notes to type up. Testing to do. Virtual bellringing to learn and run. Weekend to prepare for which imcindes more meetings and report writing. I may even be able to squeeze in some baking. As sad as it sounds I have schedule tasks nito my diary so a) I don’t forget and b) ensure I have time allocated to do them.
I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Navy trousers and dusky pink silk blouse. Gold cuff bracelet, birthstone necklace, garnet strd earrings. Smart, straight forward, business like. Purposeful day of getting things done.
I will show up for myself by:
Being purposeful and focussed on getting things done. Not allowing myself to get distracted.
I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
Scheduling time over the next week to actually catch up and go through the SOSI workshops on Living Like An Editor which I signed up to but never attended at the time it was run. At least I can watch it all on catch up and go through the workbook and take actions.
I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Finishing the book I am currently reading. I’m so close to the end but just need to set time aside for the last 50 or so pages.
Today I am:
Bossing it.
Today I am grateful for:
C doing most of the household chores. He’s at home most of the day so can get the shopping done and laundry etc whilst I go to work. My dinner is cooked for me, even on the days I’m at home and could probably cook. He cleans and gets the rubbish and recycling sorted ready to go out. The only chore I do regularly is the ironing and thats when he’s cooking Sunday lunch. I really am spoiled.
