Accomplished

I’m currently feeling:
Positive.

My thoughts creating this feeling:
Got lots to do today and woke up making a mental vote of the absolute must do’s for the day. Have an appointment first thing then various articles and reports to write, meetings to arrange and a Zoom meeting later in the day. Need to get some serious steps in so will be waking to my appointment, which I’d normally drive to. Feel quite motivated this morning to blitz stuff.

My desired feeling:
Accomplished.

My thoughts creating this feeling:
Going to make sure I’ve a visible list of the must do’s in front of me to keep me focussed. Have also set task reminders on my phone to ping at me. I want to clear things today so I have a free morning tomorrow.

I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Grey jeans and lilac jumper. Gibraltar bracelet, gold star necklace and amethyst stud earrings. Practical for being comfortable and getting things done.

I will show up for myself by:
My WOTY is Health and as part of committing to that I made myself a promise to take every health check on offer. Early in the new year I got my invite for a cervical smear test. I haven’t had one done since before R was born nearly 26 years ago. I know I should do these things but for one reason or another I’ve never felt the need or want to. But, having made a committment to better health, I booked the appointment and today’s the day. I’ve done a bit of extra tidying up down there whilst I showered this morning. I’m sure they’ll have seen worse. I wonder if C will complain later that the bath plughole is blocked!

I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
Busting through various tasks, like writing a brief for locations for filming ringing during April, writing no more than 200 words on why I’d be the best Deputy President, writing a photostock brief, arranging two meetings and attending one.

I will upgrade my surroundings by:
I may well even decide to bake a cake. I’ve got some outstanding Baked In boxes that need using up so I could check we’ve got the additional ingredients in, if not I can get them on my way back from the GP.

Today I am:
Not taking any crap.

Today I am grateful for:
Our National Health Service that provides free screening for cancers and other ailments. The idea being to catch things early to have a greater chance of curing it.
