Ease

I’m currently feeling:
Accomplished.

My thoughts creating this feeling:
Got everything I intended to do done yesterday. Managed to get out of attending the Dean’s farewell service so that gave me a couple of hours back. Even got to get some sneaky PR in as dignitaries were still hanging about, I got to speak to the High Sherrif who we know from the Cathedral, but also he used to be Chairman of our hospital. He introduced me to our local MP, who I mentioned had posted a video of our ringing once on the way back from London one evening. She was very excitable (probable several glasses of wine in by then), so I took the opportunity to get her to come up and have a look and a bit of ago. I told her about the Ring for the King campaign which she said she’d help promote. If she remembers. She commented on ringing for the Queen’s Jubilee and the funeral and I explained that I had organised that UK wide. I expect my Damehood in the post any day now!

My desired feeling:
Ease.

My thoughts creating this feeling:
I have a short working week this week as I’m taking some annual leave on Thursday. It seems ringing this evening is cancelled so I get a quiet evening at home. I’m hoping for a peaceful day and calm evening.

I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Black trousers and bright red fitted jumper. A bit in your face colour today. Gibraltar bracelet, cuboid diamond stud earnings and a chunky chain short necklace. Meaning business and getting things done.

I will show up for myself by:
Eating well, drinking plenty of water and going for a lunchtime walk.

I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
Finishing the website brief and photostock guidance and publishing them. Things that have been hanging around a while.

I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Sorting through my Inboxes and clearing them out again. Surprising how quickly they get clogged up with nonsense.

Today I am:
Chilled.

Today I am grateful for:
Having lost a couple of lb last week which so far, fingers crossed, has stayed off. If I stick to healthy eating and not snacking on biscuits I’m sure I’ll manage to keep it off for a while longer.
