I’m currently feeling:
Lazy.
My thoughts creating this feeling:
We walked about five and a half miles yesterday at a leisurely pace along the shore line and up around wooded areas. The weather was, I’d say, perfect her walking. Not too hot, not too cold. We had a lovely Lunch at the Butt and Oyster. I even changed my mind as to what to eat for a much healthier option of a poke bowl with chicken, instead of the dish with chips and mayo I first thought I wanted. We stopped off at the Suffolk Food Hall on the way back and despite being tempted by all the goodies, the only things I bought were a tiny posy of plastic pink flowers and a tiny milk bottle vase to put them in and a jar of fig jam which sounded interesting. We got home and all sat reading. The TV didn’t go on at all, we didn’t bother having an evening meal as we were all so stuffed from lunchtime, but we did have some pancakes, as its pancake day.
Today we have decided its moocherand day. Not going anywhere or doing anything particular. Might pop unto town later and I have some forms to collect from the Drs, but that’s about all. Will read, and catch upon some email activity. Apparently we’re going out for dinner this evening but no one’s telling me where.
My desired feeling:
Rested.
My thoughts creating this feeling:
I’m not going to be in a hurry, or feel rushed about anything today.Just going to take my time, and elegantly rest. Read, walk, listen to a podcast maybe, or do some SOSI work, answer a few emails. Leisurely deal with the day as it unfolds.
I’ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Cosy kicking around the house clothes, jeans and jumper. A pale sage, off the shoulder style jumper. Basic jewellry including Gibraltar bracelet, birthstones necklace and stud earrings. Elegantly lazy!
I will show up for myself by:
Allowing myself rest time. It’s been manic over the last week or so getting various filming and radio sessions lined up (BBC Breakfast TV this morning) so need to take stock of it all and let things settle again ready for return to the day job next week.
I will show up for my extraordinary goal by:
responding to The One Show filming request and checking up on the ITV Anglia piece and responding to Lambeth Palace request for information to go into their guidance for churches about ringing for the coronation.
I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Deciding where to place my new pink posy and vase on my desk in the study and putting up the replacement pictures R gave me for my birthday whilst deciding what to do with the old ones.
Today I am:
Leisurely.
Today I am grateful for:
The week off being able to mix busy days and lazy days. Days of adventure and days or relaxation. Either way, days to recharge, envigorate and spend with my favourite people.
