I’m currently feeling:
Relaxed.
My thoughts creating this feeling:
Finished reading Atomic Habits yesterday and jotted down a few key points its worth holding in mind: 1) improve 1% everyday, 2) don’t miss a beat – if you do get back to it asap, 3) to make good habits stick they need to be obvious, attractive, easy and satisfying 4) to stop bad habits they need to be invisible, unattractive, hard and unsatisfying.
I spent time Friday and yesterday completing things on my task list and making sure I’d scheduled any follow up actions. I want to be a person who follows through and completes in a timely way.
My desired feeling:
Successful.
My thoughts creating this feeling:
I want to be successful at everything I do today. From ringing this morning, completing the ironing, completing the tasks I have scheduled for today, creating delicious meals for my work week ahead, scoring this afternoon’s quarter peal, and fully participating in this evenings AGM planning meeting. I want to be a successful wife and family member. I want to be successful at developing new, good and sustained habits in all walks of life and improving that 1% each time. I feel a shift in personality this morning.
I‘ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
A full on day with lots of ringing so practicality again, grey jeans, orange jumper. Gibraltar bracelet, birthstones necklace and diamond stud earrings. Bright, cheery and positive.
I will show up for myself by:
Committing to a focussed way of life to get things done and show up even when I don’t feel like it.
I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Completing the pile off ironing and putting it away. Pre selecting clothes for my work week ahead.
I will show up for my extra ordinary goal by:
Completing the 7 tasks I have on todays schedule as well as the housework and food prep. Start the new week with a clean slate.
Today I am:
On it.
Today I am grateful for:
Things I learn and can put into practice in order to become the person I want to be and follow the goals I have. Reading the theory is one thing, it’s about putting it into practice until it becomes the norm.
