Steady

I’m currently feeling:
Proud.

My thoughts creating this feeling:
Of myself for following through with intentions for the day. Went ringing where I got to practice calling an extended touch in readiness for calling a quarter peal next Saturday. Then came home to a pile of ironing. I’d got as far as getting the ironing board out then decided it would be better to do a JWW before lunch. I moved the board out of the way and got down to workout 5 in the beginners cycle, the hardest one. That means I’ve now done 6 workouts having done the easy start 10 minute one first. I’m quite pleased with that. Then I got on with the ironing, had lunch, prepped breakfast and lunch for tomorrow, both part of the JWW plan. fired through a number of emails and wrote a couple of articles for publication. Finished yet another book for my reading challenge.

My desired feeling:
Steady.

My thoughts creating this feeling:
I’m only at work for 2 days this week and one of these will be spent invigilating exams for another department. It’ll be nice to be sat in silence and not be able to join any calls or answer any phones, but it does mean cramming everything into today. I just need to make sure I don’t feel overwhelmed and panic but just take things steadily and methodically to get through everything I need to today.

I‘ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Navy trousers, electric blue oversized shirt.  Gold cuff bracelet, blue stone (not sapphires) necklace and drop earrings. Slightly edgingly feminine.

I will show up for myself by:
Staying on track with healthy eating and anotherJWW if I can fit it in before ringing this evening.

I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Fresh air. Didn’t get out atall last week at work, so really going to make sure I got away from the desk for a little walk.

I will show up for my extra ordinary goal by:
Teaching our learner again this evening. He seems quite serious and committed at this stage. The others who contacted us to want to hearn haven’t bothered to respond to my invitation.

Today I am:
Electric blue!

Today I am grateful for:
R sent me a mothering Sunday gift. A pot plant and bunch of dried lavendar. We’d spoken about visiting the lavendar fields at some point so I guess that’s why. Plants are her go to gift for any occasion.
