Enthusiastic

I’m currently feeling:
Tired.

My thoughts creating this feeling:
Not feeling it this morning. Got home from work and did two thirds of a JWW which was better than nothing and did feel better afterwards for having done even that much. Then I iust vegged on the sofa and snoozed and ate chocolates someone had gives us. Feeling quite lethargic this morning. Maybe a combination of chocolate and sleep patterns.

My desired feeling:
Enthusiastic.

My thoughts creating this feeling:
The Essex Ringing Course starts tomorrow and C and I are helpers but on different groups. The programme doesn’t seem to have an event on the Thursday evening, there’s usually a buffet tea and guest speaker, and the social on the Friday seems very anti social as just a pub quiz but bring your own drinks, instead of the usual fun and games and writing tables and a bar, and ploughmans instead of the proper buffet. Maybe it’s a cost saving thing. Maybe its lack of effort by the current organisers. I used to organise it and do all the catering so I can at least speak with understanding of how it used to work.

I‘ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Black, grey, green large check trousers and black poloneck top. Gibraltar bracelet, long chain necklace and gold hoop earrings. To be honest, struggled to think what to wear today. Maybe thats a result of my current frame of mind.

I will show up for myself by:
Sticking to the healthier eating. Even bought healthy snacks to take with me for the Course.

I will upgrade my surroundings by:
Going to Braintree hospital this morning to check their scanning system works ok and do some training. Picking up a colleague from Broomfield first.

I will show up for my extra ordinary goal by:
Meeting this evening about CC AGM 2024 which I may end up chairing if the Deputy President still has technical issues.

Today I am:
Meh!

Today I am grateful for:
Joe Wicks giving NHS staff 3 free months to his workouts. Was the incentive I needed to get moving. I can now start to feel and see a difference, having done at least 4 if not 5 workouts every week so far. Done it even when I’m not feeling it and felt better afterwards.
