I’m currently feeling:
Weak.
My thoughts creating this feeling:
My body feels extra tired today. My legs still ache from Saturday’s workout. I’ve only done one since then. My knees feel ready to give way. Ringing was ok last night although if was quite hard getting up the steps. By the time we got home from the pub afterwards, and fiddled about with emails etc, it was midnight before we went to bed. I slept quite heavily I think and was not impressed when the 6am alarm went of. My legs, particularly my knees, and my upper arms ache this morning. We have another ringing teaching session this evening and at the moment I’m not sure I want to fit a workout in before hand.
My desired feeling:
Enthusiastic.
My thoughts creating this feeling:
Day one of walk experience went well. J is an intelligent, uinteresting young lady. We had a bit of alaugh, she grasped the concept of thinking about a project brief and has already produced a draft document and scoring spreadsheet. She was very happy at the idea of researching biscuits. I feel tired and worn out but want to maintain a happy atmosphere for her so she feels comfortable. I want this evening’s extra ringing session to go well and for our learners to feel they are making good progress.
I‘ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Navy trousers and bright coral linen top. Gibraltar bracelet, matching gold coin necklace and earrings. Comfortable but bright.
I will show up for myself by:
I will will myself to want to work out later. Even if I still feel rubbish I’ll try something.
I will upgrade my surroundings by:
fit in another lunchtime walk if I can. Get J out and about away from the desk.
I will show up for my extra ordinary goal by:
Prepare papers for tomorrow nights teaching assessment so I don’t have to rush about on Wednesday.
Today I am:
Work in progress.
Today I am grateful for:
How yesterday with J went. She’s clearly a clever young lady and capable of great things. I am aware she has some anxiety issues but so far she’s coped really well, meeting new people and visiting anywhere I say I need to go.
