For a full on weekend. Glad I got everything I intended to done yesterday, including an hour of S0SI. I did my 5th workout on the trot and upped the weights for most of it. That puts me in a good starting position for the rest of this weekend. A fullish day of ringing today. A peal attempt (3.5hrs) this morning, then a quarter peal (50mins) later this afternoon. I won’t be in a fit state to do any other exercise today. I’m still feeling good and feeling slim and sleek from yesterday, so I want to keep that vibe going.

C is calling the peal attempt and has been studying hard for it, so for his sake I hope it goes well. There are so many different ways a peal can be lost but hope its easy going today. This afternoon’s quarter is for the daughter of our friends, C’s goddaughter, who I tought to ring many years ago, who gets married in London next weekend. Today is ringing with the 2 of us, her mum and dad, C’s ex and her husband, and E (C’s daughter) &M who are visiting her mother this weekend. It will be nice to score it for Bex even if it means ringing with C’s ex again.

Lots of ringing today so it’s back to jeans and tshirt mode. My tshirt is a bright peach colour though, so not too frumpy. No bracelet today as it’ll get in the way. Birthstones necklace and diamond stud earrings, both bought for me at different times by R. Comfortable and ringable.
I will show up for myself by:
Ringing to the best of my ability in both attempts so as not to cause problems for the conductors. Maling sure I stick to healthy eating choices despite being out at lunchtime. Not quite sure what we’re doing for lunch today.
I will show up for my extra ordinary goal by:
One of the people who triggers me asked for a lift to this mornings event. I suspect being on her own, and having the nerve to ask for a lift, when they never, ever reciprocate, she’ll probably be better behaved. Then seeing C’s ex later. I will do my best not to allow either of them to ruin my day.

Today I am grateful for:
C who puts so much effort into learning compositions and helping others figure them out. He offer is called upon to conducting difficult things, or compose compositions for competitions. I hope for his sake, today is successful.
