Motherly

I’m currently feeling:
Super slim.

My thoughts creating this feeling:
Got on the scales this morning and they said I’d lost 2lb and some body fat. I did it again just to make sure and it said the same thing. It is quite possible as yesterday we barely ate. Going out early to ring meant no breakfast. We didn’t score the peal; it fell apart just about an hour in. We did then ring a quarter peal just to acknowledge the event. We were treated to a drink afterwards and by the time we got home lunch time had been and gone and we didn’t have anything in anyway. We were out again by 3-30pm but did decide to grab a coffee and a cinamnon roll on the way. That was my breakfast and lunch all in one. In the evening we had a Slimming World friendly curried cottage pie with lots of green veg. So I’m hardly surprised the scales were kind today. It may be a different story tomorrow.

My desired feeling:
Motherly.

My thoughts creating this feeling:
But not smotherly. After ringing this morning we’re heading to Greenwich to meet up with R. We’re looking around Queen’s House, walking around and finding somewhere lovely for lunch. Whilst I shall make healthy food choices, I’ll probably have a glass or two of prosecco or a cocktail or two.

It’ll be lovely to see R and hope she’s on good form. She’ll spend the day with a camera attached to her face which is what she does best. She’ll be interested in the history of the house as well as the architecture and beauty of it.

I‘ll show up on purpose in my dress, body language and presentation by:
Cross between ringing practical and looking nice for a day out. Jeans with a white vest top. A fabulous set of Ann Summers undies. A navy blazer to elevate it. Gibraltar bracelet with blue topaz matching earrings and necklace. Casual, but elevated, feminine and chic.

I will show up for myself by:
C’s ex is threatening to come ringing at the Cathedral again this morning with E+M. No reason for her to. E+M are perfectly capable of bringing the baby on their own. We rang a successful quarter peal with them yesterday ahead of our mutual friends daughters wedding next weekend. She probably now thinks that’s a way in. I will do my best to ignore her wrapping herself around C.

I will show up for my extra ordinary goal by:
Going places with people I want to be with. Part of my EG was to create space to go places, do things, experience things and spend more time with those I value. Today is one of these days. Train into the city to beautiful surroundings with C and R. Lovely lunch somewhere. Experience whatever the day has to offer.

Today I am:
Glamorous.

Today I am grateful for:
Being able to spend the day with C and R to experience beautiful things and enjoy life.
