Ready.
My thoughts creating this feeling:
To get back to normal. Not overly looking forward to going back to work, but needs must I suppose. However, I am looking forward to more dietry and exercise control. The last 2 weeks have been a total disaster. I’ve undone all the previous effort because food options were limited, exercise was almost have existant, despite taking gear along and attempting a couple of workouts in hotel rooms.
I’m ready for my new role as Deputy President of the CCCBR and working with lots of people to develop ringing into 2030.
I’m ready to manage and focus things a lot more, things that I’ve not prioritised or left on the back burner. JFDI.
My extraordinary goal for the year is…
Being financially savvy. I used to know all about my finances, life insurance, pensions, etc but over the years not really needed to bother to be worried about them. My EG is to help towards early and comfortable retirement in 3-4 years. I need to get on top of my spending, investments and plans.
What result will I produce this month?
So far, so good with the not spending. Not had opportunity or inclination.
My tasks for the day is…
Coaching session at Southend then catch up on the last 2 weeks worth of news and progress. JWW when I get home, then back to bell handling teaching session and Cathedral practice night.
What thoughts are holding me back?
Not sure what updates there will be at work, especially around the 2 department moves I’m supposed to be overseeing. Not sure how much I’m going to be able to keep up with in a JWW, having not done one for nearly 2 weeks.
What thought will I practice instead?
I can’t change what may or may not have happened in the last 2 weeks. I can read through emails and have quick calls with key people to get up to speed. I will try my best at a workout and work my way back in gradually.
What can I remove, elevate, upgrade or add to my style to embody my future self?
Channelling my inner Audrey Hepburn today. Black and white checked Capri trousers and a white tshirt. One & Eight bar necklace and earrings and Gibraltar bracelet. Comfortable for driving and holiday belly! But classically stylish.
What can I remove, elevate, upgrade or add to align with my future self’s environment?
Drive to Southend and work from home. That will be easier for getting a workout done before ringing. Drinking more water and eating healthier food that’s on plan.
What am I excited to practice and improve?
Getting back to healthy eating and exercise. Being more focussed with those “back burner” tasks.

How can I make sure I’m up to speed quickly? How can I stay focussed and get through those tasks that have been hanging around? When will I fit exercise into my day?

I’ve set my intention. I have time to achieve what needs to be done today. I can reward myself with a lovely shower after my workout.
