I’m currently feeling:
Overheated.
My thoughts creating this feeling:
It was so hot yesterday. Walked into town to the train station, early, but already warm. Luckily the trains weren’t full and were air conditioned, so not uncomfortable. Walking from the final station to the church was awful. I couldn’t sit outside to listen to the ringing. It was far too hot, even in the shade. Luckily, we rang second so before the ringing room got too stifled. The walk back home from the station had a bit of breeze, but still exceptionally hot. I did have a bit of a nap in front of the fan. But… I did also manage to do two x ten minute Abs Challenge workouts. I figured that would be better than a full on HIIT session. Still got quite a sweat on even without jumping about. Finished reading my book, had a lovely refuel dinner and a cold beer.
My extraordinary goal for the year is…
To be financially savvy again. Planning for early retirement by getting back on track with understanding my savings, investments and pensions.
What result will I produce this month?
So far, I’ve spent £0 on clothes or jewellry this month. A saving of an average of over £2,000!
My tasks for the day is…
Ringing this morning. A massive pile of ironing – about 3 weeks worth! More ringing this afternoon. Prep lunches for the week ahead. Deside work outfits for the week ahead. Maybe a workout.
What thoughts are holding me back?
Its super hot again already. Ringing is bad enough, but ironing!
What thought will I practice instead?
It needs to be done! The sooner it is done, the sooner its out of the way. Put the fan on. Put a Netflix on and crack on with it.

Jean shorts and pale pink vest top. Gibraltar bracelet, birthstones necklace and diamond stud earrings. Trying to remain as cool as possible.
What can I remove, elevate, upgrade or add to align with my future self’s environment?
We haven’t had local Sunday ringing for several weeks as we’ve been away. It’ll be nice to get back to that. It will be great to clear the ironing pile (or as much as possible) as it looks rather unsightly, looming in the corner.
What am I excited to practice and improve?
Keeping cool. Planning and preparation. Healthy choices ad activities.
My progress and my blessings
This week has been quite pleasant getting back into the swing of normal routine, exercise and healthy eating choices. C and l starting discussing where to go in October for a few days away and although we are going where he wants to, we have booked into a hotel more in keeping with my wants. It includes a spa and gym that I’d be really keen to make use of.

Routine.

How can I stay cool? What can I do to make ironing less boring?

Realistically, its quite a chilled day. A couple of bits of ringing, and some housework. In between, there’ll be time for relaxing and reading. Might be an idea to clear some emails if possible.
