I’m currently feeling
Blown away.
My thoughts creating this feeling:
Metaphorically and physically. Blown away by the totally chilled out time I’m having. Have really managed to relax, eat reasonably well, considering. Kept working out. Reading a lot. Feel so much calmer. Blood pressure and heart rate came right down from where it usually is. Blown away by the generosity of others’ gift giving, mostly! Blown away by C fixing my car yesterday, which seems to have made a difference. And blown away due to the winds currently battering quite a bit of the UK. Thankfully not to the extent of roof tiles coming off.
My extraordinary goal for the year is…
To be financially savvy again. Planning for early retirement by getting back on track with understanding my savings, investments and pensions.
What result will I produce this month?
No clothes or accessory purchases at all this month.
My tasks for the day is…
Generally chill this morning. Maybe finish a book R bought is for christmas which I only started reading yesterday. Peal attempt this afternoon will get me one away from my 150th. Then dinner out with the ringers. Fingers crossed the peal is successful.
What thoughts are holding me back?
Really want the peal today and tomorrow to work so I get to score my 150th by the end of the year. Today’s should be ok barring any mishaps, tomorrow’s I’m less confident of because of whose ringing and what we’re ringing.
What thought will I practice instead?
Today’s should be straight forward. Tomorrow’s may be ok because its a rare tower to peal, so everyone ought to be on their A game.
What can I remove, elevate, upgrade or add to my style to embody my future self?
Dark jeans, grey active wear tshirt, long grey cardigan. No bracelet, birthstones necklace and peridot and amethyst earnings, both bought by R at different times. Relaxed, comfortable style for ringing in.
What can I remove, elevate, upgrade or add to align with my future self’s environment?
Ringing at Downham, should be good. Decent bells. I’ve booked a pub for us all for dinner afterwards.
What am I excited to practice and improve?
Not stressing. What will be will be.
My progress and my blessings
C fixed the bonnet catch on my car yesterday so the alarm shouldn’t keep randomly going off. The replacement cost £50 which would have cost a heck of a lot more if I’d have taken the car to a garage to look at. He’s so clever at fixing stuff.
What do I declare myself to be today?
Excited.
What questions can I ask of myself today?
How will I stay calm and grateful to those who ring in today and tomorrow’s peals if we don’t score one or other of them? If we score todays, how will I keep the pressure off, so I don’t stuff up tomorrows?
What words of encouragement, insight, wisdom or humour does my future self have for me today?
If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t it wasn’t meant to be. No point getting upset over it. Just replan for the new year.
