Measured

My current feeling is:
Measured.

My current thoughts are:
I was reading articles and social media posts on the Body Coach community page yesterday about the feelings you get after exercise are just the same as those you get after sex. That’s probably why lack of sex isn’t bothering me so much at the moment. But, a lot of the posts were also complaining about not having lost any weight, or not as much as they wanted, whilst admitting they don’t fully follow the meal plan part of the programme. I follow it as far as breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack but have not always been strict over portion control. I would scoop up a small pot full of nuts rather than measure out 20g. Or tip out shop bought granola rather than weigh out 75g and wonder why, by the time I’d added fresh fruit I couldn’t get the lid on my bowl to take to work. No wonder the scales aren’t registering anything less, in fact currently going the opposite direction. And, according to the app I should be drinking 3.25 litres of water per day. I probably manage about 2 when you add it all up. So, last night whilst preparing breakfast and snack for today, I have measured the exact quantities according to my personalised plan. I’ve filled the litre water bottle and will aim to drink it, fill it up and drink again today.

My physical state is:
Twitchy.

My physical state is a result of:
Probably not working out for the last 2 days. My shoulder still hurts which does put me off doing too much, but it actually feels better during exercise.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Only eating what is measured out, and drinking lots more water.
2) Completing 1m 25s of static glute hold.
3) Taking our learners to another new tower to experience different bells and surroundings again.

My desired emotion for today is:
Committed.

I am a woman who:
Looks after her body.

Today I will let go of:
Being grumpy our learners didn’t get to practice last might because there was something going on in the Cathedral we didn’t know about.

Today I choose to add:
Elegance in my work place.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
I’m grateful I get to choose what I put in my body and the freedom to move her to make her stronger.

The thoughts that support my celebrations:
I can afford good food, I can eat what and when and where I want. I have access to free, clear, fresh water to keep her hydrated.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Improve my water intake to try to reach the 3.25 litres and see what that feels like.

Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from my future self:
Just keep going. Refill. Go again. Pee a lot.
