My current thoughts are:
We took one of the young ringers to a Cumberlands out of town practice last night, to introduce him as a prospective new member. He was very nervous but I had absolute confidence in him. There were some others there, similar age and whom we kwow, who had also been taken along for the same reason. I was rather pleased to see our young ringer acquitted himself very well indeed. His ringing was spot on everytime. He was invited to ring in nearly every touch. He did not need anyone stood behind him to help. I think he really enjoyed it even though he said his stomach was churning. I was a very proud supporter. We all went for a quick drink afterwards and he bought us a drink as a thank you for taking him. He’ll make an excellent Cumberland and it will do wonders for him too. Need to figure out the next opportunity when we can nominate him.

My physical state is:
Edgy.

My physical state is a result of:
Only worked out once so far this week and feeling a bit fidgety with pent up energy. Should be able to work out later today.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Attending the funeral of and remembering one of the former heavy weights of ringing in Essex. Its a sad occasion but I’m sure will be filled with good memories.
2) Catching up on some reading.
3) Full workout.

My desired emotion for today is:
Respectful.

I am a woman who:
Is redoubling efforts to stick to her word of the year.

Jealousy.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
Yesterday was a good day all round. Good to be with colleagues in the morning considering operational ways forward and having a laugh at the same time. Made the morning go quickly. I got more of one of my coaching assignments done. Had a great evening ringing.

The thoughts that support my celebrations:
I was reading yesterday about the collaborative high people get when they work together. It’s like a runners high or exercise high and when collaborative group exercise happens the good feelings you get afterwards are even greater. I think I feel good after yesterday for both the working collaboration and the ringing collaboration with exercise. I got a double dose.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
I feel encouraged by the ability of our local young ringers and feel I want to increase my own regular peal ringing and repertoire of methods. The only real way to make that happen is to organise my own events and invite people I want to join in.
