My current feeling:
Successful.
My current thoughts are:
We scored yesterday’s peal, after a shaky start, but got there in the end. It seemed to go on forever and I was starting to lose the will but it was still sub 3hrs. It was hot and stifling in the tower which didn’t help, but glad we got there in the end. When we got home I had a meeting on Zoom about this years AGM. The President turned up for this one, she said because she was conscious she’d left me to it, but I also wonder if she was spying on me ahead of the Exec meeting I’m going to have to chair this month in her absence. It was a good meeting anyway, so I hope she was satisfied.
My physical state is:
Tired.
My physical state is a result of:
I do feel quite tired this morning. I wonder if it’s a cross between not working out (e,g, keeping my energy up), too much ringing, and the fact I’ve had a really sore throat the last few days so may be going down with something. I hope not!
I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Drafting a project request form for submission to support the single scanning proposal.
2) Workout when I get home.
3) Only learner practice tonight, so an early finish.
My desired emotion for today is:
Productive.
I am a woman who:
Likes being busy.
Today I will let go of:
Procrastination.
Today I choose to add:
Determination.
My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
Scoring yesterdays peal was a first for one of our young ringers and it was good to get the bells of Dagenham ringing. Apparently the first time they’d been rung this year.
The thoughts that support my celebrations:
It was good to help the young ringer achieve a first and ring on bells not often rung. I’m hoping we can arrange more peals for our young ringers to help them progress.
I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Get focus back at work. I’ve been drifting for so long it’s hard to get stuck in, but now I’ve got some concrete pieces of work to do, it will be better.
Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from my future self:
Keep active. Keep the lurgy at bay. Don’t want anything to spoil Friday’s outing.
