Surprised.
My current thoughts are:
We are away for the weekend at the National 12 Bell Striking Contest in Chilcompton, Somerset. Not participating but partly in my role as CCCBR Deputy President, and partly because it’s actually a good day out listening to excellent ringing and soaking up the atmosphere, chatting with people we’ve not seen in a while and enjoying the day. We came down yesterday afternoon. Before we left home though, we had a few jobs to do in town. We walked in to get the bells up ready for visiting ringers on Sunday. I wanted to buy fresh flowers, even though I won’t get the benefit of them for a couple of days, and buy another notebook for my SOSI notes. When we were packing I said I wanted to bring my 1.5 kg weights to be able to continue my arm raise challenge. I’ve only ever taken workout gear on holiday once before when we went away for about 10 days. I did 3 or 4 workouts during that time. I’ve not bought any other workout gear this time, just the weights. We’ll be getting some steps in as we walk from our hotel to the church and back. I was quite surprised at my determination to get what I wanted when we went shopping but also at being able to keep pace up and down the steep hill to the church yesterday afternoon.
My physical state is:
Relaxed.
My physical state is a result of:
Not needing to hurry. Not needing to do anything other than my arm raise challenge and walking.
I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Working the steep hill to the church and back.
2) Seeing and speaking to lots of people I’ve not seen in a while.
3) Enjoying some excellent ringing and not being stressed at having to participate.
My desired emotion for today is:
Enjoyment.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
I was clear on my intentions yesterday about what I needed in town without having to justify any of it. I walked nearly 11,000 steps which was incredible given we were in the car for over 3 hours.
The thoughts that support my celebrations:
I’m getting clearer about what I want, and not having to justify it to anyone. I have the money and wherewithal to do it.
I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Friendliness. Lots of opportunity to chat with people today so a good opportunity to be kind, friendly and approachable.
