Bold

My current feeling:
Bold.

My current thoughts are:
It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day. For the most part I’ll be indoors but want to get outside as much as I can and get skin exposed to some sunshine and fresh air. I’ve therefore got the shorts and vest top out for the first time this year. I’ve got some admin to do this afternoon but will spend the morning at Costco bulk buying stuff and seeing what else they’ve got in for the season. They often have workout gear or exercise equipment, I’ll have a look out for that. Ringing tonight at Gt. Baddow to support the District Practice, so won’t be anything too difficult.

My physical state is:
Ready.

My physical state is a result of:
I didn’t feel like doing a workout in the end yesterday. I came on my period which left me feeling a little bleh! I’m sure if I’d have done one I would have felt fine. Instead, I did some stepping and clocked up nearly 10,000 steps. That was still enough to break out in a sweat.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Getting out in the sunshine and fresh air.
2) Clearing some overdue admin.
3) Workout, for sure.

My desired emotion for today is:
Purposeful.

I am a woman who:
completes.

Today I will let go of:
Excuses.

Today I choose to add:
Action.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
Yesterday, at work, I had a coaching chemistry session with a potential new coachee, and it looks like we’ll make a start, which is fantastic. They reached out to me via the EoE coaching hub completely independently of anything else. Later on in the day I had confirmation my main project that has been on the go for 4 years, finally got handed over to BAU. This means I can hand everything over to the operational team to continue rollout, and raise any further technical issues via Helpdesk rather than coming through me. It means I can now focus on other, new projects.

The thoughts that support my celebrations:
As far as new coachees are concerned, I’ve been talking to colleagues to spread the world that I’m available, but no joy. This new person had been discussing coaching with their line manager and made it an objective to get support. They found me via the East of England NHS hub, so could have picked anyone to coach them. I’m glad they chose me though as it gives me a chance to contine to grow my coaching skills, just as I’m about to finally become qualified.

Handing over the project to BAU has been a labour of perseverance to get the final technical issues sorted. Its taken too many months to get the supplier to commit to looking into the issue, not helped by our own team not having completed a task they said they had, which may have solved the problem much sooner. I sent out an email to the main project team, and copied in their line managers, to say thank you for their efforts.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
I have 9 outstanding, overdue admin tasks to clear this weekend. Some will only take a few minutes, others require reading and digesting. I also have some mock coaching tests to do and see if I can download the software to my laptop.

Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from my future self:
Celebrate the sunshine, the wins, the achievements, however great or small.
