Gratified

My current feeling:
Gratified.

My current thoughts are:
A lovely day in London yesterday. Met up with R, looked around the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace and purchased unnecessary and over priced items in the shop. Walked through St James’ Park towards Trafalgar Square and found a lovely restaurant for a big meal. R was meeting friends in Oxford Street so we walked up Picadilly, Regent Street and Oxford Street before parting ways and coming home. Walked over 20,000 steps so at least got some exercise points. Spent the rest of the evening reading, snoozing and relaxing.

My physical state is:
Mobile.

My physical state is a result of:
My feet are still sore after all that walking yesterday but the rest of me is ready for action. We had talked about going for another walk today but the weather isn’t as bright. We’ll see. If not, I may just do an upper body strength workout.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Doing some form of exercise.
2) Shaping and painting my nails.
3) Reading.

My desired emotion for today is:
Flow.

I am a woman who:
is not bothered.

Today I will let go of:
demanding.

Today I choose to add:
calm.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
Had such a good day yesterday, I don’t actually care if we do anything or not today. Food shopping needs to be done this morning but I’ll let him do that on his own.

The thoughts that support my celebrations:
Sore feet for sure not exciting me about more walking. Weather not so nice anyway. Would only probably go to walk around a local reservoir so not very far away and won’t take long.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Tomorrow I’ll deal with all the emails. I’m not “working” until then. Have a few zoom calls throughout the day. Getting back to normal.

Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from my future self:
Take care of myself. Say no when I want to. Say yes when I want to. Be more outspoken of desires, wants and needs. Ask audacious questions.
