My current feeling:
Quiet.
My current thoughts are:
It’s hard to be motivated at work when you are fully aware every piece of work you’re currently involved in will go nowhere. I was asked to write a training and development strategy for Digital Services, but as with all these things, it will require some level of investment which won’t be forth coming. I’m also supporting writing a paper for a single scanning solution to replace the 3 different ones we currently have. Again, that will require investment, which is unlikely to come in the current climate. The other paper I’m writing may move things along for one of the services, but it’s what they should have been doing by now anyway. I spent a lot of yesterday shuffling words about on a page, not really enthused by any of it. On top of waiting to hear just when I’ll get made redundant. No-one was in yesterday as they’re all on annual have this week. My boss might be around today but thats the only day this week I may get to talk to her over the phone or Teams.
My physical state is:
Ready.
My physical state is a result of:
Ready to tackle the next new workout in my cycle. My arms did feel a bit feeble after ringing last night and I did wake in the night and my right shoulder was aching a bit. Probably from the weekend’s ringing and ironing marathon.
I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Looking classically chic.
2) Lunchtime was and podcast.
3) workout #2 of this new cycle.
My desired emotion for today is:
Active.
I am a woman who:
is getting prepared.
Today I will let go of:
Animosity.
Today I choose to add:
Freedom.
My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
Both our learners who were there last night did very well, both doing something they’d not done before.
The thoughts that support my celebrations:
It was really good to see them positively engage with the exercises and feel the accomplishment afterwards. Let’s see if we can repeat it tonight.
I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Smashing the cycle workouts and really toning my tummy. I managed a 60 second V hold last night.
Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from my future self:
Stick with it, see what happens.
