Exhausted

My current feeling:
Hopeful.

My current thoughts are:
The current situation at work is leaving me resigned to having to go after nearly 23years. After a conversation with my boss yesterday, there’s a window of opportunity today where our director will make the case for voluntary full redundancy, so we won’t have to go through the unnecessary song and dance of a restructure and redeployment farse, but can volunteer to go, on full package. There are several people willing to do that. It would save a lot of anxiety for a lot of people, but can the organisation afford it? Probably not, as I suspect many of those who would volunteer have been in the NHS a very long time, so get maximum payout. Like me. It would, in the long term, save a lot of time, money and effort for what will achieve the same result, for me anyway.

My physical state is:
Exhausted.

My physical state is a result of:
My body feels quite shattered this morning. May be it’s a combination of not being so busy during the day, but then workout and learners practice yesterday evening.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Lunchtime walk and podcast.
2) Re-energising workout.
3) Planning next weeks amazing, healthy and nutritious foods.

My desired emotion for today is:
Relaxed.

I am a woman who:
is on her own at work for the rest of this week.

Today I will let go of:
Boredom.

Today I choose to add:
Investigation.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
Our learners did really well again last night. The youngster is really coming out of his shell and happily chats with all of us, despite his ADHD. G is moving onto the next stage and is enjoying himself.

The thoughts that support my celebrations:
J has ADHD and other issues relating to it, but seems to have found his voice and will chat with everyone now. G is making some progress again at last. He takes much longer to assimilate instructions and convert them to action.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
In for a busy, long Bank Holiday weekend so need to make sure things are in order. Need to ensure there’s time for workouts too.

Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from my future self:
Roll with it.
