Intrigued

My current feeling:
Intrigued.

My current thoughts are:
Its management committee day today. I’ve read through the papers so far and there are several proposals both C and I don’t agree with. I wonder if anyone else has picked up on them and will also disagree. It will be interesting to hear how the discussions develop. I will be voting against the proposals as they stand. I’m also anticipating a bit of a backlash about communication from the CC Reps regarding the financial consultation approved at the AGM last month. We have a response and an idea of how to move things forward to improve communication from the CC to the EACR membership and back again. I’m not going to preempt anything, just have things in my back pocket.

My physical state is:
Motivated.

My physical state is a result of:
Another great workout last night. I didn’t complete the full 5 minute burpees finisher, but I did at least do the first set. Feels like they are getting easier and my body is responding to the movement. Disappointed not to be able to workout over the course of the weekend.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1)  Choosing healthy food options despite being out for lunch.
2)  Holding back a bit at the management committee meeting and watch everyone else’s responses.
3)  Not letting people who were rude to me last time I saw them step over my red velvet rope.

My desired emotion for today is:
Passive.

I am a woman who:
will watch everyone else closely.

Today I will let go of:
agression.

Today I choose to add:
nonchalance.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
Got some serious admin completed yesterday.

The thoughts that support my celebrations:
Utilised the Pomodoro technique again for some big admin tasks that needed doing. Blazed through them, and even got more than I originally intended to done. I even applied it to 30 minutes of stepping to make sure I got my steps in for the day, given we didn’t leave the house. It really has been a game changer. I could probally now increase the deep work time and decrease the rest time. I’ll play with that next week.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Got a method to relearn for a quarter peal attempt tomorrow afternoon.

Sit back and listen. Watch. Take note.
