My current feeling:
Impressed.
My current thoughts are:
Went to help out at the recruitment open day yesterday. There was a steady stream of people all the time. There were also a lot of ringers on hand to teach, talk, take down details of anyone interested in learning more, persuading people to come in off the street, and general milling about. I didn’t really need to be there but I did get involved in a few discussions and some demonstration ringing. Apparently there were 58 names captured, and 38 helpers from 14 different towers across the District. A fantastic effort. Now the hard work happens with all the follow up.
My physical state is:
Boosted.
My physical state is a result of:
Another great workout done when I got home. It was called a Barn Burner, and it wasn’t wrong. I did the first two sets of half burpees and full burpees, the second set of half burpees, but really couldn’t manage the second set of full burpees. I did everything else though, and felt fabulous afterwards.
I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Finish food prep for the week ahead.
2) Clear the ironing pile.
3) Successful peal attempt.
My desired emotion for today is:
Accomplished.
I am a woman who:
Gets on with things.
Today I will let go of:
Preconceived ideas.
Today I choose to add:
Generosity.
My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
Having the house to myself for a few hours.
The thoughts that support my celebrations:
I haven’t realised C’s meeting was a face to face, I’d assumed it was on Zoom. Anyway, when I got back from Maldon, it meant I was able to get on with my food prep in peace, then do a workout and shower, and sit and read in quiet for a while before he came home. It was really quite calming.
I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Finish the food prep off and be ready for a week of action.
Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from my future self:
It was interesting watching people yesterday. Those that had specific roles, and those, like me, just milling about, how some engaged whilst others stood back.
