My current feeling:
Excited.
My current thoughts are:
A good conversation with my boss yesterday. I wanted to talk to her about my role and the work I’m doing, not doing and could be doing. I seem to have lost my purpose over the last year. The day started with me being invited to look at the space health records were being asked to move into. Good job we did as it seems its even smaller than the space we’d last seen drawings of and we certainly hadn’t approved it. It does make it unusable and unsafe in its present state and therefore we need to push back on the demand for moving in by mid-January. It was quite good fun being back on a building site. The conversation with my boss hinted at other prospects on the horizon and requires her to speak to others. Hopefully she’ll do that this week so I can start to get the ball rolling with follow up conversations next week. It will essentially mean swapping teams to Digital, properly. The opportunities could be exciting.
My physical state is:
Pent up.
My physical state is a result of:
I’m ready for a workout. Too much sitting and standing about and I can feed it in my shoulders and back. It’ll be another new one from my cycle, so interesting to see how it goes.
I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Lunchtime wars and podcast.
2) Reinvigorating work ethic.
3) Another new workout.
My desired emotion for today is:
Reinvigorated.
I am a woman who:
is looking forward to new opportunities.
Today I will let go of:
mediocrity.
Today I choose to add:
Vibrancy.
My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
Interested in others.
The thoughts that support my celebrations:
Yesterday, after ringing, several of us went to the pub. Usually, there’s one person who dominates the conversation and it can’t get quite frustration noone else gets a word in. However, last night I was listening and asking lots of questions and he naturally obliged. I was actually genuinely interested in what he had to say for once.
I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Working on targets to complete two pieces of work by early December.
Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from my future self:
Time to get focused and finish things off.
