Saddened

My current feeling:
Saddened.

My current thoughts are:
We found out last night one of our ringing friends died suddenly at home on Saturday morning. He’d had a heart condition for a long time but it was pretty much under control. He had been more erratic as far as ringing peals goes over recent months and had resorted to ringing lighter bells. He needed something to lean against in case he struggled. But he was still very active peal ringing and never turned one down. His wife found him on the floor of the bedroom in the morning. At least he went quickly. It’ll knock his wife back I’m sure as she was undergoing cancer treatment which had started taking its toll again. She’d originally not been given long but rallied after medication as part of a research trial. She also had been backing out of peals more frequently recently. I don’t think she’ll be far behind if I’m honest. I think it really shook C when we got the phone call. He was one of this man’s leading peal ringers, and we only saw him last week.

My physical state is:
Amazing.

My physical state is a result of:
I did the first of The Body Coach’s 12 Days of Christmas Challenge yesterday then followed it with the second, as it happened to be a 10 minute abs session. I’ve set my own challenge to do abs every day. Looking forward to getting the next lot in tonight as we have no ringing.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Lunchtime walk and podcast.
2)  Workout and abs finisher.
3)  An evening at home.

My desired emotion for today is:
Accomplished.

I am a woman who:
has a productive day ahead.

Today I will let go of:
Procrastination.

Today I choose to add:
Positive vibes.

The thoughts that support my celebrations
The first two workouts of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge were easy beginner sessions. I’m sure The Body Coach has ramped things up so by the end  we’ll be on advanced workouts. Bring it on.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Not happy at having put on a couple of Ibs over the weekend. means I have more to lose now. But I will.

Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from my future self:
figure out a plan for Friday’s day out.
