Comfortable

My current feeling:
Comfortable.

My current thoughts are:
I enjoyed most of the day to myself yesterday. C was out ringing, then decided to go for a beer and some lunch so didn’t get back home until gone 4pm. I popped into town nice and early to beat the crowds. I bought myself some new perfume based on a sample R had at Christmas. I bought myself some new beauty products as I want to learn to take better care of my skin, mostly my face. I got some hydrating mist to spray on any time I feel dried out, some exfoliating face wash, and together with some sheet face masks, want to start a Sunday routine of deep moisturising my face. I also need to up the moisturising of my body as I’m feeling very itchy in this dry, cold weather. I then had several hours at home to do as I pleased. I read a couple of chapters of Changing Habits, got myself a leisurely lunch, then read several chapters of a comedic non-fiction history Q&A book and putzed for a while. I was just gearing up for a workout when C came home. I felt very comfortable in my own company all day. I turned the kitchen radio off, so it was all quiet and peaceful. A relaxing, fulfilling day.

My physical state is:
Excited.

My physical state is a result of:
I’ve just checked into Advanced Cycle Plus 4 this morning, so took the photos and stats. I acknowledged a 2lb increase in weight post Christmas, but the abs workouts really paid off. Whilst the measurements say I only lost 1cm arond mmy waist this cycle, the photos are incredible. You can see definition front and side on. The difference between the initial photos from March 2023 to today is amazing. The first workout of AC+4 is titled Savage Burpees HIIT, sounds horrific but I’ll give it a go.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1)  Check into AC+4 and review the workouts and new recipes.
2) comfy morning reading.
3) Try the Savage Burpees this evening when we get back from the District Meeting.

My desired emotion for today is:
Relaxed.

I am a woman who:
can savour the day.

Today I will let go of:
anxiety.

Today I choose to add:
peacefulness.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
Creating new habits my future self will thank me for.

The thoughts that support my celebrations
Keeping up with workouts and food plans, reintroducing a skin care regime which will put me in a good position as I head into menupause – which maybe incoming this year (haven’t had a period for 6 weeks now.) Whilst I’m not a slave to beauty products or trying to turn the tide of time, I want to be fit, strong and healthy, with good skin and give myself a chance to age well, but gracefully.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Busy day tomorrow but want to carve out time for a workout and food prep ahead of returning to work on Monday.

Make things a part of life without becoming a slave to it or making an industry of it.
