My current feeling:
Exhausted.
My current thoughts are:
Yesterday didn’t go according to plan. Had a phone call from R at 06:30am in tears at the train station in Kingston because her back card wouldn’t let her through the barrier. She’d over spent in December so had no cash left until payday. I transferred some money, enough to then get an Uber so she wasn’t late and extra to tide her over until pay day. At 5pm, whilst still at work, my mum video called me to say dad needed to got to A&E because his foot had swollen up and he couldn’t walk on it. Transpires it’d been like that for a couple of days but yesterday he’d driven into town and walked about on it. I ended up having to go and get them, as mum doesn’t drive, go back to the hospital and wait with them to bring them home again. Mum and I got kicked out of the department because of D&V, so waited in the atrium. I ended up buying them some food, took it back up to dad. Just as we’d decided to have a change of scenery dad was discharged. Got them into the car and were on the roundabout when dad remembered he’d still got the cannula in where they’d taken bloods. Span round the roundabout and back in, unloaded them again, got someone to deal with it, fortunately pretty quickly, then loaded them up and took them home again. Got them settled and got back to my own home just after 10pm!

From sitting in hospital waiting room chairs for hours, and pushing, at various points, dad, then mum in wheelchairs.
I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Away day (morning anyway) with colleagues, should be fun.
2) Workout.
3) Rested night at home.
My desired emotion for today is:
Peace.

Lost 2lbs overnight.

Finally got back to my pre- Christmas weight. Why does it take so long, and we didn’t even overeat or drink that much at all. Helped by not having anything to eat last night although not the recommended way.
I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
I will workout this evening.

At least I had a good chat with mum and told her a few home truths about various members of our family.
