Energised

My current feeling:
Energised.

My current thoughts are:
A great away day yesterday. A review of progress against last years priorities. A look ahead at this years. Been given a new project out of it too, can’t wait to get stuck into. Enlightening conversations, and new frame of mind. No family dramas today so was able to get home and workout, and enjoy an evening meal and some wine.

My physical state is:
Stronger than I thought.

My physical state is a result of:
Did a 30 minute kettlebell “Barn Burner”. I used my 10kg for most of the moves, without too much strain. I really enjoyed it, worked up a sweat and felt great afterwards. Another ticked favourite.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1)  Get some home admin done.
2) Attend a funeral and celebrate the life of a lovely lady.
3) Workout.

My desired emotion for today is:
Grateful.

I am a woman who:
Forming new habits.

Today I will let go of:
Selfishness.

Today I choose to add:
Thought.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
Winning at removing distractions.

The thoughts that support my celebrations
The last few days at work I’ve been removing distractions from my work life. I’ve been putting my phone in my handbag, which sits behind me in the office. Out of sight, out of mind. It has also helped that I’ve actually had things to do for a change, so given me things to concentrate on. I’ve also not jumped immediately into answering emails that ping up. I’ve left them until I’ve finished the piece of work I’m currently doing, then check them. Working so far.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Need to decide outfits and pack ready for our weekend away. Likely to be very chilly, so thick jumpers I can ring in, thick socks, and something to change into for Saturday dinner.

Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from my future self:
Check what workouts I could do whilst we’re away. Gotta keep the streak going.
