Relaxed

My current feeling:
Relaxed.

My current thoughts are:
The funeral went well yesterday. Not as many people there as the one the day before but still around 200. We went to the wake afterwards then came straight to Bristol for our ringing weekend away. It was an easy journey, stopping for a comfort break at Reading services, where we decided to get something for our evening meal in M&S rather then have to go to the hotel restaurant or elsewhere. This meant I was able to choose a lovely chicken and grain salad, a kefir drink and apple and peanut butter. A much lighter and tastier meal than we’d have probably had otherwise. Only one tower in the evening and not everyone had turned up, so it wasn’t over crowded. Then back to our hotel for our food and chilling out.

My physical state is:
Stiff.

My physical state is a result of:
A little bit stiff from sitting in the car for several hours. I was contemplating a mobility workout first thing, a quiet one to do in an upstairs hotel room, but didn’t feel like it when I woke up. Might fit it in between the last tower and dinner this evening, but there’ll be plenty of steps, and ringing to keep me mobile otherwise.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1)  We decided not to go for a cooked breakfast this morning. Not hungry.
2) Catch up with some friends.
3) Tower grabbing.

My desired emotion for today is:
Happy.

I am a woman who:
can overcome.

Today I will let go of:
jealousy.

Today I choose to add:
Lightness.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today:
Good food choices so far.

The thoughts that support my celebrations
I was pleased to be able to choose healthy options yesterday evening. After another beige buffet at the funeral, and the prospects of pub meals for the rest of the weekend, it was nice to start off well, even if its downhill from here.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
C’s ex will be around all weekend. Hopefully, we’ll mostly manage to stay out of each others way. Managed to avoid her at both funerals. Either that, or manage to control my emotions around her and not let her get inside my head.

Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from my future self:
Better look up some methods!
