Satisfied

My current feeling:
Satisfied.

My current thoughts are:
I chased up the letter from the hospital for Mum as soon as I got to work yesterday morning. A little while later I received confirmation it had been sent to her GP. I saw a copy of the letter and it categorically states to put the pessary back on the grouds it made no benefit to the creatinine levels. It also said they were going to discuss next steps at an MDT. I phoned Mum straight away and told her to get back on to the GP to make an appointment. The earliest they could fit her in was 21st Feb, a few weeks away still, but at least she knows they’ll do it this time. Some satisfaction something is happening.

My physical state is:
Strong.

My physical state is a result of:
Steamboat Dumbbell workout last night. I tried to push my weights and started off using my 7.5kgs but quickly had to lower to 5kgs. I was determined to stick it out with those even though I really wanted to drop to 3kgs near the end. I do have DOMS across my upper shoulders and my back.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Making progress with projects.
2) Lunchtime walk and podcast.
3) Another new workout to try.

My desired emotion for today is:
Progressive.

I am a woman who:
makes progress against her goals, however small.

Today I will let go of:
Worry.

Today I choose to add:
Comfort.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today.
No extra snacks.

The thoughts that support my celebrations
Sometimes it’s easy to add on extra snack here or there thinking it won’t make much difference, but over time it all adds up. Yesterday I had no additional snacks apart from my planned ones. I spread my food out throughout the day and it kept me satiated.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Get ready for the weekend. Plan admin tasks, chores and other activities.

Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from your future:
You don’t have to get stroppy to get results.
