Relieved

My current feeling:
Relieved.

My current thoughts are:
A quiet day at the office yesterday. I got a bit bored if I’m honest, so I started looking into short on line courses about diet and nutrition. I found one for £29 that gives me a Diploma as a Diet and Nutrition Advisor. I figured for that price I could get away with it. I met Mum later on for her renal appointment. Luckily she saw Prof Ali who is the Lead Renal Consultant at the hospital. Her bloods have come down a bit, he was happy for her to have the pessary put back, which is scheduled for Friday There is a bilateral obstruction from her kidneys to her bladder, so a catheter is not off the table yet. He was happy not to see her again for 6 months. She’d also had a phone call apology from the Urology Registrar who had previously been harsh with her. So, she’s very happy about the outcome, has the MDT review meeting at the beginning of March where they’ll decide what action to take about the obstructions. For now, she’s got a bit of a reprieve.

My physical state is:
Lurgy.

My physical state is a result of:
Cold definitely in coming. Sneezing more frequently, raging sore throat and now getting a stuffy head. I did manage a 20 min restinstance band workout but didn’t do a second session. Maybe tonight.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Learning.
2) Lunchtime walk and podcast.
3) Workout or two.

My desired emotion for today is:
Openness.

I am a woman who:
Is open to learning, sharing, exploring.

Today I will let go of:
worry.

Today I choose to add:
fun.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today.
Wrote a paper about the maternity documents.

The thoughts that support my celebrations
I’m presenting an issue at a clinical meeting later today, so I’ve prepared all the information, and chased for some up to date news on testing. Hopefully, it should be straight forward.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Valentines Day tomorrow. Need to write his card, ready. We’re probably going out for dinner but I’ve no idea where.

Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from your future:
A week off ahead. It’ll be interesting how I log my time in my time tracker to demonstrate activity and positive productivity.
