Loved

My current feeling:
Loved.

My current thoughts are:
Happy Valentine’s Day. We do celebrate in our house. This morning I’ve received a card, chocolates and 14 red roses. I gave him the exact same chocolates and a very similar card. And we go out for dinner in the evening. I’m not sure where we’re going, the calender just says KC! I can’t think of any restaurants in town with those initials. Got a chilled out day at home, maybe some admin, and a workout or two. Plenty of time for relaxing and reading.

My physical state is:
Stuffy.

My physical state is a result of:
Cold definitely coming out now. Lots more sneezing and sore throat still. Managed to do a 30 min kettlebell session last night, mostly with my 10kgs but dropped to 8kgs for the overhead moves. Only missed out the second set of burpees.

I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Relax and recharge.
2) Workout or two.
3) Valentine’s dinner for two.

My desired emotion for today is:
Love.

I am a woman who:
Loves and is loved.

Today I will let go of:
Hustle.

Today I choose to add:
Kindness.

My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today.
Got high praise indeed for a piece of work.

The thoughts that support my celebrations
Yesterday I had to share a piece of work I’d been doing for someone with them, ahead of it being presented formally in a few weeks time. At the end, the very senior leader said thank you, thats an excellent piece of work, and really demonstrates what he needed it to. There are a couple of minor tweaks to make, but it was so nice to hear such vociferous praise for a change. There’ll be work coming out of it for sure, and I’m happy to follow through on it.

I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Competition ringing day tomorrow. There’ll be lots of food: bacon rolls, cakes, jacket potatoes etc. I want to be careful not to get carried away, but enjoy the day and, fingers crossed, perform well, if not win.

Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from your future:
I scored 93% on my first Diet and Nutritional Advisor Diploma assessment. Yay!
