My current feeling:
Winning.
My current thoughts are:
I verbally expressed my offer of help yesterday as well as the email I sent the night before , and it was considered positively. I said that I would be available to help next Saturday when they have a Trustee’s meeting and was told it would be helpful, as I’m not involved in the meeting. I was told that that would be very beneficial and to take that as formal acceptance to do it. That’s a positive step in the right direction. The issue is going to be discussed at the Trustees Meeting anyway and if I’m actually there, helping, it may come over as more positively recieved than if I wasn’t there. People would be far less likely to dis me if I’m present. And I have all week to turn the notes around. An email has already been sent to the Trustees to confirm my attendance.
My physical state is:
Full of cold.
My physical state is a result of:
A lousy night, kept waking up to cough or try to breathe better. Couldn’t get comfy because I couldn’t breathe in my normal sleeping positions. Very stuffy head this morning and lots of sneezing already. Got two lots of ringing today, one a peal attempt, so hope I can keep it at bay long enough.
I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Keeping my cold at bay as best as possible.
2) Clear the ironing pile.
3) Successful peal attempt.
My desired emotion for today is:
Successful.
I am a woman who:
tries to remain positive.
Today I will let go of:
letting the lurgy get the better of me.
Today I choose to add:
action.
My wins, accomplishments, gratitudes for today.
We came a very close 2nd.
The thoughts that support my celebrations
The bellringing competition we had yesterday had 7 teams from across Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk. We rang 4th and were placed 2nd by just 1% from the winners. It was good to see the trophy to go to a team outside of Suffolk for a change.
I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
I don’t want to let this cold ruin my week off. A gentle start to the week with just a quick meeting in the morning, and ringing in the evening. I can rest up in between.
Words of advice, wisdom, encouragement, humour from your future:
Going to need to take something to keep the sneezing and foggy heed under control during this afternoon’s peal attempt.
