My current thoughts are:
Lovely day yesterday. Many gifts, cards and messages. A lovely day out, albeit damp at times, around Eltham Palace, then a long walk around central London before a fabulous Italian meal in Leicester Square. Not a particularly late night getting back, but a long enough day. It was great to see R and hear her news. Really pleased she’s been working on her dissertation resubmission and seems to be quite upbeat about it. She also has potential plans for a holiday to Spain in the summer and a trip to Glasgow at some point, all to meet up with her arts group friends. And we’ll be getting to see her again at the end of March.
My physical state is:

Walked over 11 miles yesterday. Today is massage day, so no workout. A bit of light ringing this evening.
I will make today extraordinary by:
1) Massage.
2) Reading.
3) Relaxing.

Relaxed.

The thoughts that support my celebrations
We’re of an age now where gifts of “stuff” are less required and indeed desired. I can still come up with a list of things I’d like, if requested, but I’m less bothered these days. C bought me a bottle of Baileys chocolate luxe, some chocolates, but more importantly a day out with him and R, going to places I like to look around.
I want to improve the following for tomorrow:
Seemingly only put one pound on yesterday however, I’m sure it’ll take a while to shift again. I have a renewed determination to stick to a food plan, and exercise whenever I can without making excuses. We’ve got a lot of celebrations and weekends away coming up but I want to really make the effort to choose well and stay on track.
