Current Thought:
A new coachee first coaching call yesterday was the only thing I had in my diary all day. A couple of emails, and that was all for 9hrs! Started week 3 of the BSC gang Summer Ready challenge. A kettlebell workout I’d done a couple of times before. Used my 12kgs for most of it but dropped to 10kgs for overhead presses and tricep extentions. R did phone, after another prompt. It was a fairly brief update on the flat move situation. She’s found somewhere she liked, and is big enough. Works out about £30 more than she pays now. She’s waiting to hear back from the estate agent. She found a reasonably priced man with a van. I think the upshot is she doesn’t want / need our help. Ringing was very hot last night so I drank more water in the pub afterwards than I usually do.

I’m not going to worry too much about it. R clearly wants to do it herself, so let her.
I feel:
A bit redundant as a parent, an employee, as a colleague, and definitely a wife.
I do:
1) (body) lunchtime walk, workout before ringing.
2) (mind) got some meetings today to keep me occupied at least.
3) (soul) Let the people people. You do you. I’ll do me.
Future Self Pep Talk:
You offered physical and financial support. It was clearly not required, so letting it go, letting R fend for herself, knowing you have her back if she needs it, allows her to grow as an independent adult.
Celebrations/Gratitudes:
Lifted heavier for the kettlebell workout. Managed the 12kgs for most and 10kgs for overhead stuff. Really enjoyed it. Glad to be working out on Mondays before ringing, so I can keep up with my challenges and self care.
