Current Thought:
A dull day at the office yesterday. One, very short meeting and a smattering of emails. No ringing last night so I was able to do a full workout. Really enjoyed the GVT and finished well before Joe. Some last minute admin, then settled down. It was good to see R had actually responded to birthday messages, albeit collectively on the family What’sApp group. She didn’t respond to any other messages we sent!

is prepared as she can be for the bellringing part of the holiday. I’ve sent through everyone’s menus, checked they’ve been received, printed them all off. In the lap of the Godesses now.
Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
Packing for two separate parts of holiday to get done tonight. Practical stuff for ringing and more elegant stuff for our actual holiday.
I feel:
Ready for 4 days of ringing then a few days to ourselves.
I do:
1) (body) lunchtime walk. Workout tonight as there’s no ringing.
2) (mind) a few short meetings today, then deciding what to pack.
3) (soul) packing workout gear and aiming to stay on plan as much as possible on holiday.
Future Self Pep Talk:
Rather than jumping to conclusions, seek knowledge so that it’s easier to overcome prejudiced ideas.
Celebrations/Gratitudes:
German Volume Training (GVT) is 10 sets of 10 reps of weighted squats, shoulder press and bicep curls. I finished before Joe as a) I wasn’t lifting as heavy as him, b) I wasn’t waiting as long between sets. I used my 5kgs for the squats, 3kgs for the shoulder press, then alternated between them for the curls. Really felt strong afterwards, and slight arm DOMS this morning but admiring my toned arms and shoulders.
