Sore

My 30 Day Goal is:
Save at least £500.

Current Thought:
Excellent day yesterday. 10 min abs session first thing then loaded up on breakfast. Went to the caves which were interesting and run by a couple and their son. From there we walked around Grimwith Reservoir. It was lovely and sunny when we started so left the coats in the car. About a third of the way round the 4.5 mile walk it started to rain and there was a rumble of thunder. There was no shelter so we just had to go for it. We sped up, overtook other walkers who were more appropriately dressed, and got absolutely soaked through. We came back to our hotel to change and dry off, before walking into Harrogate. We had afternoon tea at Betty’s, a famous cafe, and spent nearly £100 in the shop on treats. We walked around the town centre before coming back for a rest, then went down to the bar for drinks and snacks.

Current Emotion
Sore.

Todays Standard:
I am a woman who:
works out first thing in the morning, even when the wifi is so poor I end up having to make up half of the moves.

Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
the weather should be a little better but more outside walking to be had around Harlow Carr RHS Garden. Need to plaster my heels though as they’re very sore from yesterday.

I feel:
relaxed about food choices as we’re getting plenty of exercise in and doing a workout every morning.

I do:
1) (body) glute workout. Lots of walking.
2) (mind) finished my book but looking for other things to be interested in this week.
3) (soul) fresh air, exercise, good food, relaxing.

Future Self Pep Talk:
Effective communication involves knowing how to process our thoughts and address others in suitable ways for the situation we find ourselves in.

Celebrations/Gratitudes:
7.5miles of walking. Didn’t feel a thing. Proof my workouts and lunchtime walks payoff.
