My 30 Day Goal is:
Save at least £500.

Current Thought:
Glute galore workout first thing. On top of the previous day’s walking and ahead of lots more walking. Why not? We went to RHS Harlow Carr. Went there about 10-12 years ago with R and I have a vivid memory of the rose beds and R taking photos. It was mildly disappointing this time. The roses weren’t where I remember them being before, and in fact there were barely any roses at all. Lots of colourful flowers and interesting trees etc anyway. Didn’t take as long to get round either so we found another place to visit. Ripley Castle is a lovely little house really, with lots of grounds and gardens. The castle itself is closed as its up for sale for £21m but that does include the pub, shop and tearooms. We came back for a rest before heading out for dinner at a restaurant in town. Mildly disappointing. We had to get our own menus, order online, no one came to check our meal was Ok, then they forgot my dessert and it wasn’t as nice as I’d hoped anyway.

Todays Standard:
I am a woman who:
Moves to our next location. Resistance band workout first. Big breakfast. Stately home then long drive to next destination.

Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
Although I’m doing a short workout every morning, I’m eating way over what’s necessary, and drinking wine every evening. I need to relex around food, and stop when I’m elegantly full.

I feel:
I need to be more controlled around food when I’m on holiday.

I do:
1) (body) resistance band workout. Some walking.
2) (mind) explore new stately house.
3) (soul) travel to a new destination and new hotel.

Future Self Pep Talk:
There is no point winning an arguement in which you are wrong or have inadequate information.

Celebrations/Gratitudes:
Another holiday workout, despite the wifi. About 6-5 miles walking yesterday.
