Current Thought:
Good day at work yesterday. Useful conversations and way forward agreed at Orsett. Spent the afternoon data filtering spreadsheets for summarising. No commute as I worked from home in the afternoon. This, and the fact C was late getting dinner started meant I knew I had time to do more than one workout. I read somewhere that its better to do strength before cardio. My planned workout was a 30 min dumbbell strength, for which I used my 7.5kgs throughout, except for the overhead tricep extentions where I dropped to 5kgs. At one point I thought I was going to drop them on my head during the narrow push ups. That got me my 550th workout badge. I decided to add on a 20 min tabata cardio. That was a beast but fun. I really enjoyed both and knew it was going to hurt in the morning. I’ve lost 6 of the 8lbs I put on over our holiday so far.

I’ve cracked how to tackle a particular work problem and plan to see it through today.
I feel:
Strong, focused and determined to uplevel across the board.
I do:
1) (body) lunch time walk. Workout tonight.
2) (mind) work through a complicated task and get it ticked off.
3) (soul) plan healthy, nutritious food and workouts for next week.
Future Self Pep Talk:
You have to be strong to deal with difficulties, but it takes power to step back.
Celebrations/Gratitudes:
Hardcore exercise yesterday. Lifted heavier, consistently and didn’t wimp out. Followed by tabata and pushing myself through even the burpees, although they were modified versions.
