Disciplined

My 30 Day Goal is:
Lose at least 8lbs.

Current Thought:
Good fun supporting another district’s ringing at the Cathedral yesterday. Not many of them turned up, so it was a good job several of us local ringers came along to support them. It was reasonably good ringing, and some of them got to ring on 12 for the first time. Seemed like those that came enjoyed themselves. We stayed in town for lunch and I bought some flowers. We had a wedding to ring for. It was a long service and the reception seemed to be talking place in the cathedral after the service. When we got home I settled in for some reading. You know when you’re tantalisingly close to finishing a book, you just want to get on with it. Spent the rest of the day relaxing. Decided against a workout as I’d done lots of ringing throughout the day and felt quite drained.

Current Emotion
Disciplined.

Todays Standard:
I am a woman who:
will get straight on to some serious admin. Clearing the inboxes and issuing information and invoices.

Todays Sweet Spot:
I think:
It may become quite stressful and C will get grumpy but I will get it done.

I feel:
Determined to get the roadshow information out to suppliers today, and cross off lots of other minor admin tasks that have been sitting around a while.

I do:
1) (body) need to find time to exercise. No walk into town or ringing today.
2) (mind) manage my mind around C being grumpy again, in order to get things done.
3) (soul) protect myself against hurt, and give myself love because I get it nowhere else.

Future Self Pep Talk:
Learn to say “no” to commitments that drain you; you’ll be surprised at how much time was yours all along.

Celebrations/Gratitudes:
Stayed true to what I needed yesterday in terms of rest and solitude.
